Course Outline
This course is a 1 day accredited diploma and is suitable for both the beginner or the established therapist looking to widen their repertoire. The course criteria covers the theory and practical elements of how to complete a microdermabrasion with facial treatment. Microdermabrasion is a skin rejuvenating technique which helps to repair facial skin imperfections such as fine lines, blemishes and resulting scarring, age spots and sun damage. As we age, cell turnover slows down, resulting in dead skin cells build up on the surface of the skin. Regular treatments will reduce this dead skin and improve the look of the skin. You will also learn about the relevant health and safety and legislation for this qualification, the products and equipment required, the relevant anatomy and physiology and recognising the contraindications to the treatment.
